Checking in!

Hi guys,

Just a quick check in, its been totally mental over here! I have had no time to keep up with posts! I know I promised I would but things just went a little crazy...

All is back to normal now, I've just started a new job and I'm all settled in, so normal service should resume shortly.

I was pleasantly surprised to see my view count had been steadily growing even in my absence and I have to say I'm chuffed.

Heres to getting back on track and regular posts!

Anniversary weekend away!

So this weekend saw in the anniversary of me and my amazing boyfriend!

With everything that's gone on lately, our busy work schedules and just day to day life stresses etc we decided to have a little weekend away..
Just us...
No kids...
No phones..
No stress...   ....Perfection

So we packed our little bags and headed to Brighton,  we stayed at the lovely 'Old Ship Hotel' which is situated right on the seafront!
We had a lovely spacious deluxe room, up on the third floor, sadly there was no sea view, but that didn't really matter in the end!

We Checked in and dropped our bags into our room,then went for a walk around the town centre, where I of course had a little nosey in SpaceNK and Cath Kidston (my heaven) where I picked up the cutest little double compact heart shaped mirror..

Do you love it as much as I do?! And it was only £4.00!! :)

Then we headed down to walk along the seafront and headed onto the Pier where we behaved like teenagers again, tried and failed to win numerous cuddlies from the grab machines, took ridiculous pictures and just enjoyed each others company. 

Later we had a lovely fish supper and headed back to the room to enjoy a bedroom picnic of sweets and cake while watching Saturday night TV,  before a midnight seafront stroll, and to bed where we slept like babies for a full 9 hours (unheard of in our house lately)

Sunday morning, check out was for 11 am so we got ready, packed up, dropped bags to car and went for a needed hearty English breakfast in a sea front cafe before walking it off and a spot of shopping in town before heading back to home.

We had an amazing time, just a day completely to ourselves, no distractions, just us! We could have gone anywhere,  but Brighton was such a lovely town to visit! And it'll remain a great memory.

New purchases!!

Hi guys
Hope you've all been well and are settling into January.

I have 2 new items to show you today,
The first is a gift I received for Christmas from my boyfriends mum & nan, it's a beautiful full length button up jacket by 'Noisy May' in dark grey with black arms, it's double breasted and has a shorter flap either side that buttons up! It's so thick and warm and I received it just in time for this dreadful weather we're having over here!

The second is a beautiful bag I instantly fell in love with, this gorgeous 'Warehouse' bag is brown bodied, dark cream sides and has the beautiful 'Tiffany Blue' accent on the lining, it has a small zip compartment on the inside and another zip compartment on the outside which is covered by a flap! I'm in love, and can't wait to use it!!

My new hair style

Hey guy's

So im a tad late in posting my new hair style.

I actually went quite a bit shorter than I'd planned, and for a reason...
Im quite a lazy sod really, so decided that since one of my resolutions is to make an effort EVERY DAY face wise, I also needed to do the same with my hair, I'm one of those that will always pull it back in to a ponytail or messy bun, and I thought, well if it's short, its not as easy to scrape it all back and would actually be easier to just run the hair dryer/GHDs over it in the a.m

What do you think of my new look?!

Im finally back! (sorry)

Hi guys

Right im finally defintely back! It's been a very rough couple of months, but I'm determined to up my blogging game and come back bigger and better!

Hope you've all had an amazing Xmas and are ready for the New Year?! Xo

And so back to business...

I've decided im not going to do a 'what i got for xmas' post, instead I'll do singular posts on some of the items I received as and when I come about using them/its appropriate to post on them,  and I'll state whether it was an xmas gift and from whom it was received.

I did order the 'Love Me Beauty' advent calendar, and planned on doing a daily blog of the items, along with some of bits I'd picked up, but with all that went on that all fell by the wayside, and I've totally missed the train on that one now! So again I'll do singular posts of the items as and when.

Upload Problems!!

Sorry guys I'm having trouble uploading all my post pics from my camera,

Half wont load to the PC and the rest won't import!

So frustrating, I'm finally ready to post again and now I cant, as soon as I can sort this problem, you'll have lots of juicy posts to read.
